Safety and Security at Car Parks
We are working to make your car parks safer. Some of the improvements
we've made include:
- Over 50% reduction in car crimes across our stations year on year
- 37 First Capital Connect stations with car parks achieving the Park Mark Award (Safer Parking Scheme) which is an initiative run by the Association of Chief Police Officers aimed at reducing crime and the fear of crime in parking facilities
- Extensive work completed by our partners including resurfacing, an overhaul of signage, new fencing and a general upgrade of car parks
- Better lighting, with new brighter white lighting
- Expansions completed at Royston, Huntingdon, St Neots and St Albans multi-storey car park
- Luton's new state-of-the-art multi-storey car park has now opened. It has 138 cameras, 730 bays and provides you with the highest levels of safety and security
