Huntingdon station benefits from £1.3m improvement programme

Huntingdon station has undergone a major £1.3m facelift. Work has included the restoration of the station canopy, which has been completed by Network Rail. First Capital Connect has installed new automatic ticket gates and platform shelters, and work is now complete on a brand new bus/rail interchange. In addition, work has already been completed on installing a new low level ticket office window, automatic door opening and closing devices to the main entrance doors as well as additional handrails on the footbridge stairs. We hope that all of this work will help to make the station more accessible.
