Our service - Friday 9 February
We apologise to customers for the delays to services on both the Thameslink and Great Northern routes this morning. Cold temperatures, fleet failures, infrastructure problems and resulting speed restrictions all combined to make journeys difficult. We have been working throughout the day to address these issues. Please see below for an outline of the service we plan to run this evening.
Thameslink route: we plan to run a full service this evening, however there may be some delays and short-notice alterations and some trains may be formed of fewer carriages than normal following Network Rail undertaking emergency engineering work in Balcombe Tunnel.
Great Northern route: some services will be cancelled this evening as a result of earlier weather-related faults. Please check our live train updates for information on specific services.
